Read My Lips

I've been talking a lot about lips the last few posts but bold lips are in and are not going away anytime soon. Not only do you need well conditioned lips to successfully pull off a strong colour, I can never go past a dramatic red lip so with the recent launch of ARTDECO Lip Lacquer, lips require another mention.

This luxurious little jewel in noble black packaging  combines excellent  coverage with a wonderful shine.The delicate texture of  a lipstick with it’s even colour finish  and perfect reflection is combined  with the wonderful shine of a gloss.  The colour palette ranges from a delicate pink to a baroque red with 3 beautiful red shades to choose from. A great product for a quick application if you're short on time and want more colour and longevity than a traditional gloss or want more shine than a traditional lipstick. For best results I would always recommend:

* Prime lips first for a smooth, even finish.

* Use a matching toned lip pencil to define the lip shape and lightly fill in the lip to anchor the lacquer.

* Apply with the flock applicator and use a lip brush for a more polished finish around the lip line and to blend the lacquer across the lip and towards the edge.
