If you’re not a fan of the brights that are huge this summer this mini trend is sure to take your fancy. Usually only seen in the cooler months, this summer, cherry wine coloured lip stains were seen on the catwalk at YSL S/S 2012 and Naomi Watts  on the front cover of Harper's Bazaar wears it beautifully. This look works best teamed with a matching nail for a sophisticated and polished finish. Day or night, a deep red statement lip is always a winner and berry shades happen to be one of the few bright  hues that every skin tone can pull off.
