3 tips for glowing summer skin

It's that time of year again ... party season is in full swing. Time to get glowing. What's the secret to a healthy summer skin?  Follow these 3 easy tips and you'll be glowing in no time.


* Remove your make up before going to bed, even after all those Christmas parties, late nights and few too many cocktails. Your skin needs to breathe and repair itself whilst you sleep.

During the day your skin has been exposed to pollution and a build up of natural oils and sweat. Sleeping with make up on can clog pores, cause blemishes and irritate the skin.

Half worn makeup blocks the natural exfoliation process which can leave your skin looking dull. Wearing heavy eye make up and mascara can weaken/damage the eyelashes as well as cause a bacterial infection around the base of the lashes. Last but not least it will accelerate the aging process of the skin and whilst you might not notice now, you will definitely see the damage once you reach your 30’s!





* You wouldn't use a dirty, stained, old sponge to clean your dishes so for a healthy skin and  smooth finish replace your make up sponges regularly to stop the transfer of oil, bacteria, skin cells and other nasties back onto your face when applying your cream to powder or powder foundations.
